Give three coaches you believe would make a great replacement for Tubby. Like the post says "realistic". Try to stay away from "pipe dreams" (i.e. Donovan, Pitino, etc.) - My three are (in no specific order):
Crean from Marquette Dixon from Pitt Gillespie from Texas A&M - Thoughts?

coach k bruce pearl bob huggins not in that order!! Coach K? That's pretty funny! My #1 guy to try and get would be Gillespie. He is a single guy, so he would have nothing but the program to worry about! He is a good coach! I like that A&M squad.

I'm liking Billy G also. Maybe an assistant from the Pheonix Suns who loves their style of play.

Folks, Billy Donovan is not a pipe dream. As I posted a few days ago from the Denver Post......
"If Smith does bolt, or Barnhart pulls the trigger, what then? Barnhart has long admired Florida coach Billy Donovan, a Kentucky assistant for five years long before turning Florida into last year's national champion. If Barnhart hasn't already talked to Donovan, then he definitely would if Smith left. "
"And if Donovan hasn't listened yet, he might then. One ex-Kentucky player says Donovan would leave Florida for Kentucky. It makes sense. Whoever heard of winning a national title and still not being the No. 1 coach in your own athletic department? "
I think that the last line of that quote says it all. Personally, I really think that we can have any coach that we would want to go after. There are no "pipe dreams" when it comes to laying the cash on the table........and we have enough of that!

Pipe dreams consist of K, Phil Jackson, Calhoun, R Williams, Olsen, Izzo, and probably Howland. Pitino is unreadable, he might well come but I can't imagine even talking to him.
Other than those guys I'd say everyone is in play.
1. Donovan 1A. Calipari 2. Matta 3. Gilespie 4. Crean

Donovan is No. 1. Calipari is next, if we want to sell our souls and invite the NCAA watchdogs.

I personally love Billy D. , but I would also like to have Dixon or Villanova's coach! Billy D would be so awesome to have though!

I've heard barnhart has been in contact with Mike Dantoni. in case you don't know that is the Head Coach from the NBA's Phoenix Suns. But i say our coaching christmas list starts with: 1.)Billy Donavon-Florida*, 2.)John Calapari-Memphis*, 3.)Bill Self-Kansas*, 4.)Rick Barnes-Texas*, 5.)Mark Few-Gonzaga*, 6.)Tom Crean-Marquette*.... and the list continues.
