There is no question that things have changed for the formerly beleaguered ex-UK coach. The razzies and vituperative comments he got here have changed to cheers of adoration. Minnesota is happy. Smith's detractors are happy. Smith and his wife are happy. Sound like a lot of happy people out there. ;D

Good for them and him, I wish him the best and think he made the best decision for all involved....

They should be. No offense to Minn., but 22-12 and a second round exit for the NCAA's is a great year for them. There was a Minn guy on another site that thanked us ( Sarcastically ) and I told him Tubby will get you guys 20 wins a year while the new UK coach will put us back to the 77% winning % and 28 to 30 wins so it is a win/win situation for both schools.

Yep, it is a winner all the way around. Can't wait to see who Barnhardt can get to replace him. Hope that the new man is really good. It would be an embarrassment for Minn to win more games next year than UK wins. It could happen. 3 seniors gone Morris gone Jasper may go Porter and Stevenson unhappy Lucas gone Patterson gone Draymond Green gone The "Big Briton" gone Rest waiting to see who the new coach is. Yep, it could happen.

Yep, it could happen. I don't think it will be all that bad. We will most likely lose some of our recruits. That always happens after a coaching change. We may lose one or two underclassmen, but I put those ods at 70/30 against. We'll be just fine.
