Tubby is no different that many other coaches. Say one thing and do another. Here his agent is working on a deal with MINN this past December and he also tells the Pattersons as late as Tuesday that he isn't going anywhere. Don't think we have to worry about Patterson following Tubby to MINN. So many Tubby lovers have said Tubby was such a man of his word. All I can say is "Bullcrap".

What really sucks about posts like this is it assumes facts not in evidnce. It's just an unwarrented, ad hominem attack on a person, and serves absolutely no useful purpose. You claim to be happy. Why don't you act like it instead of continuing to smear Smith? Your post is bullcrap.

Does Tubby have to do everything that his agent says? I thought they were simply there for advice and working out deals, not being the final decision maker of the deal(s),

I personally don't care at this point. Tubby is gone, let's get a great, new coach and bring UK hoops back to prominence!!

His agent him what is the big difference. He is not the saint he wants you to think he is.
Hope he has fun snow land.

let us not forget the ever prominent "we will speed up the tempo" right before rondo's sophomore year. or the great "we will never have another year like this" right after rondo's sophomore season. one less loss really did the trick.

I am happy he is gone and agree with r4r. His speed up tempo was a half court offense.
The new coach will be supported no matter who it is. If you don't give the new guy a chance you may need to think about if you are a UK fan or if you are just happy complaining.
