With the recent admittance by Ken Caminiti that he used steroids when he won the '97 MVP award, how prevalent do you think the use of steroids is in the Major leagues.

Jose Canseco tried to tell everyone several years ago that the use of steroids was prevalent in the ML but no one believed him. With Caminiti's admittance, for some reason everyone acknowledges the rumor now. Curt Schilling even stated that a large number of athletes are using roids right now! What is so funny is how attainable steroids are in the U.S. and I don't think that they are officially considered illegal in the majors are they? I'm not sure if they are or not...

They aren't outlawed by the MLB, but they are by illegal without a perscription. Canseco said he believes about 85% of players use them. Caminiti said about 50%. Frank Thomas said he believes about 25%, and Alex Rodriguez said he thinks about 10%. I think it's probably closest to Camininti's estimate. IMO all these records are tainted now.
