Weep no more, my ladies -- and gentlemen -- of the blue persuasion. Your University of Kentucky Wildcats aren't crying over the now-final death of their postseason football dreams. Neither should you. Don't rail about the injustice of it all. Don't accuse the NCAA of heartlessness. Don't add another wing to your multilevel persecution complex. Be productive. Be creative. Do as the players are doing. Turn this snub into fuel, and turn the regular season into a crusade. After a reportedly spirited practice yesterday, I asked quarterback Jared Lorenzen if the Wildcats might be playing mad the rest of the year. He shook his big, blond head. ''It'll be more than playing mad,'' he said. ''It'll be playing outright pissed off.''

It's different for teams like Notre Dame and Alabama which are consistently good. We aren't bowl eligble often, so when we have a team good enough we wanna play!

I agree BBF! One thing you're not likely to see in our lifetimes: The NCAA and "fair", "intelligent" and/or "logical" mentioned in the same sentence.
