MTSU was able to put pressure on Tennessee quarterback Casey Clausen two weeks ago, and the Blue Raiders will need to do the same this week against Kentucky quarterback Jared Lorenzen. “It’s real important,” said MTSU coach Andy McCollum. “We had two sacks and we hit Clausen three or four other times, but we can’t leave our feet. “(Lorenzen) has tremendous arm strength and he’s a good athlete. One thing we have to be is better tacklers.” The Blue Raiders were off last week after losing 39-34 at Alabama and 26-3 at Tennessee. “Confidence-wise, we’re not beat down,” McCollum said, “but we have to learn how to win.” More here
