Guy Morriss hopes first impressions are the ones that last when it comes to his new Wildcats. The Kentucky coach officially welcomed 13 scholarship players, nine walk-ons and two transfers to the program on Wednesday as freshmen and newcomers opened two-a-day practices at the Nutter Center. They'll have two days and four workouts to themselves before veterans report on Friday and full team practice begins on Monday. "Overall as a group, it may be the best looking bunch that's come through the door since I've been here," Morriss said. "There's a lot of athleticism in this group, and I know it's the best group of offensive linemen as far as I'm concerned. The two running backs (Arliss Beach and Monquantae Gibson) are standout players. We're glad to have Chad Anderson back... Bo Smith looks real good, smooth. Those are the kind of kids you need."
