Knowing that the University of Kentucky planned to sign no more than two offensive lineman this recruiting year was not the only reason Ryan Noblet verbally committed to the Wildcats Tuesday. However, it did play a factor in his decision to become the first player this year to publicly say he would sign with the Wildcats in February. Noblet is a 6-5 1/2, 270-pound offensive tackle from Indianapolis Cathedral, Indiana's all-time winningest program. He runs the 40-yard dash in 4.9 seconds and bench presses between 275 and 300 pounds. He's played basketball, wrestled and thrown the shot put and discus in track. He's known for his athleticism, footwork and technique.
