Show Wesley McGriff a defensive back who has never been beat by a receiver and he’ll immediately know what that player has been doing. "If you are a defensive back and you’ve not been beat, then you have never lined up in a game and played," said McGriff, the cornerbacks coach at the University of Kentucky. "What matters is how you respond when that happens." That sentiment applies to the overall UK football program. In the last two years Kentucky has changed head coaches, had consecutive two-game winning seasons and been hit with NCAA sanctions because of numerous rules violations. If any players ever felt the need to have someone tell them their football world wasn’t ending, it has been those at Kentucky. McGriff, a natural enthusiast, has been there to do just that, too, since joining Guy Morriss’ staff.

I loved this article.....The passion that coach McGriff shows will be obvious this season.
