Who's it going to be? Will the Celtics be able to continue their march to the Championship, or will it be the Lakers that cut down the nets.
Kobe vs. Pierce doesn't have the same ring to it that Bird vs. Magic had, but this should still prove to be a great series.

I went with the Lakers on this one. I'm a huge Celtics fan, and I hope I'm wrong, but I think the Lakers are playing better ball right now than the Celtics and Kobe is just unstoppable when he wants to be.
God, please let me be wrong.

Boston won both games against LA this year, at home by 13 and @la by 19. The big difference for the Lakers is Pau Gasol. He brings a lot offensively that they didn't have. But, the Celtics are better as well. They are deeper than when we played them, earlier. The emergence of leon Powe along with getting Sam Cassell and PJ Brown give the Celtics a lot of experience and depth on the bench. Ray Allen has finally started to contribute.
I'm going with the Celtics in 6.

Boston did a pretty good job of it in the earlier games. He hit 6 of 25 shots and had 22 points with 3 TO's in one game. He hit 9 of 21 in the other game for 28 points and 2 TO's. Both games were won by double figures.

If they do go with a Gasol/KG match-up.....that's good TV right there.

Not worried nearly as much as I was. Celtics are playing great D right now and the Show is playing great off the bench. That kid from KY. aint too bad either.

Darn near everyone in San Diego is a Lakers fan. I got told several times today that the Lakers will "destroy" the Celtics tonight and win the series.
we'll see about that.
