I think Bailey is xukfan with another psuedonym so he can really back up his statements about "all" of the other UK fans who think UK sucks. CH, once again a post from you that offers NOTHING to the discussion on the Board. Just another personal attack on posters that you don't agree with. Try raising your sights some with your own constructive ideas and allow others their ideas!! Golf I just see the positives. I really enjoy the intricacies of Tubby's style of basketball, just as I enjoyed the intricacies of Rick's style of play. (both are great and if they are executed properly you can win either way). I can forgive and forget so it doesn't stress me out about Randolph Morris. I live for the future instead of dwelling in the past. I think the future looks good. I am not still pissed about those three 10 loss seasons. When I get on here instead of getting mad at people that disagree with me. I notice how the anti-Tubby crowds comments are usaully filled with anger and negativity. I Usually hope in my heart that one day they can be at peace with things and just relax and enjoy what we have not wish for the could've, would've, or should'ves. If you chase those things happiness will never be in your hands it always would've, could've and should've been in your hands instead.

Honestly, nobody shoudl ever make 2 million coaching basketball. But, if there is somebody to make it, I think Tubby is the guy. National title, only coach to ever sweep 7 NCOY awards, Olympic-goal medal winning coach, and #1 recruiting class. I'd put that resume up for 2 million, if somebody has to make that much.

BlueCat What you are neglecting to take into account about Pitinos 2 ten loss seasons is he took over a team that was bottoming out. The same can be said about UK when he took over here. When Tubby took over here he got a team that was pre season favorites to win it all. That is not a fair comparison. Bailey I beg to differ; Pitino had a 10 loss season in his 3rd year. One year after a 25 and 7 season. I'm not neglecting anything. Fact of the matter is that Pitino has had at least 10 losses in 50% of his seasons at UL. You want to make excuses for your guy Rick and that's fine, just don't give him a free pass on what you criticize Tubby for. Tubby's three seasons of 10 losses came in a three year span where we had a lot of turmoil on the team. He corrected that and has yet to see more than 6 losses in a season while averaging 29 wins per season. Two final 8 finishes, that well could have been final four finishes if not an injury to Bogans, and a little bad luck in a double overtime loss to a very good and experienced Michigan State team. Those are things that I think you conveniently neglect to see.

Proof positive that his guy doesn't know what he's talking about; We have one of if not the most talented groups of guards anywhere. We also have more depth than just about any team out there. There is some truth to what the guy is saying but only in the numbers. Just because a team doesn't have a bunch of draft picks doesn't mean they aren't great TEAMS.

They played the exact same kind of ball that we did. scores in the 50's and 60's with a slow and deliberate style of play. Except UK didnt get beat by 30+ points by a piece of crap called Houston. ED

BlueCat So you are saying that the Pitino and Tubby inheritated similar circumstances. NOT! Tubby inheritated a pre season Number1 team while Pitino inheritated 2 teams that were bottoming out. Which one should have 10 loss seasons? How come Tubby has 3 ten loss seasons? Bailey

What BC is saying is that Pitino went 25-7 one year and lost 10 games the next. The rebuilding job was obviously over if he went 25-7. Face the fact, he lost 10 games the next season. Go look at the records and tell me who has more ten loss seasons by the way. There is evidence out there that could suggest that Pitino is better, but you're providing that talking about ten loss seasons. In terms of winning percentage, Tubby wipes the floor with Pitino. Pitino is barely above .700. Tubby could be above .750 before the end of the coming season.

Which one should have 10 loss seasons? How come Tubby has 3 ten loss seasons? Bailey First off Tubby did not inherit a preseason number 1 if memory serves correct. The 97-98 season was looked at by most as a rebuilding year for the Cats, and I believe they were ranked somewhere around 13 -15 preseason. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Secondly Pitino had his second 10 loss season, not with a team that was bottoming out, but a team that had won 25 games the season before. As for which coach should have 10 losses in a season I would say neither one, or both. It depends on the circumstances. You are certainly entitled to your opinion and I'll respect that. You asked us if we thought Tubby was earning his paycheck, and to that I answer emphatically; Yes he is. It's worth 2 million dollars a year just to have to listen to some of the whining we do.

Yes on Arizona, UK was preseason #13 and was considered to be rebuilding they lost 3 starters with 2 being 1st round draft picks( G/SF-Anderson and 2G-Mercer)(PG Epps the other starter).ED
