The topic of Tubby's approval rating came up so I thought it would be fun to conduct our own little poll.
We'll run the pole for 7 days and see what the results are.
Replies are not allowed. Just give your answer, and we can discuss next week.
Thanks

Probably not the best time to unlock this thread, but I found it very interesting. 60% approval rating for Tubby.
I don't think it would be that hight today, and for that matter 60% isn't that great. There are reasons why 40% did not answer yes. While the majority still think Tubby is getting it done I'd say his popularity is dropping about as fast as George Bush's right now.
I knew this would be an interesting poll because I think this board represents very well the Big Blue Nation as a whole.
Well I'll tell you right now, I voted yes, but if I were voting today I'd definitely be voting no. Tubby regardless of what people say did not have this team ready to go today. They looked very lethargic for most of the game, and still have no clue about spacing on offense or blocking out on defense.

Man, I feel like a lizard, I also voted yes a week ago, but my vote today would be NOT. I was thinking more of Tubby the way he represents the University, and not the way this years team is coming along and how many consecutive years it will make without a FF or NC. Also I should add, future outlook (not only this season) and the lack of improvement with the current recruits that were supposed to have the talent to move this team in the right direction into an elite status.

I've been-Hell no for years. Definitely haven't seen anything to change my mind. Maybe we could kind of give Tubby a job like a good will ambassador for UK; you know, kind of like a greeter at Wal Mart. He could smile and shake lots of hands.

1 loss is not going to change my opinion BUT, i am beginning to see why the "Tubby Haters" do not want Tubby as our head coach and i will keep my vote as a "YES" until after the season because we can still have a rough season like MSU had last year and go into the tourney as a 5 seed and still make the final 4 just like the New York Yankees , Joe Torre is not judged during the season but is judged in October ,same goes for Tubby it all matters on what you do in March

I voted no and would have voted no several years ago, not just because of the NC game.

Amazing, how does one game dramatically change people's opinions like that? That's kind of fickle.

I was actually talking to an IU fan yesterday, and they offered this interesting perspective on UK fans, of which they can't stand. The IU fan said, UK fans cry so much after a loss and complain that our coach should be fired, but if we beat Georgia State, they'll act like we have the best in the nation and we are back on track to the final four. Embarrased as I was, I couldn't deny what he was saying was try about some.

Also, Shag is now my favorite player, he was great.

My bad. I believe they will beat Indiana today, and still have a good season before it's all done.
