Here you go KJ. With the recent close games and blowout at the hands of Indiana we'll run this poll again to see just where Tubby stands with the Maniacs.

I'm not thrilled with where the team is right now, but I'm far from dissatisfied with Tubby as the head coach. There are certainly things I'd like to see changed, but I believe that we could do a lot worse for a head coach and not a whole lot better.
This season things don't look so great, but we lost a lot of leadership and have yet to find an inside presence. Morris add a lot to this team once he returns and I think our results will be much more encouraging than they have been recently.
Tubby is a good coach that will IMO get us back to the final four and beyond. It won't be this year most likely, but very soon. My expectations for this team were pretty high, and so far we haven't looked near what I thought we would, but that's no reason for me to jump ship.

Very interesting 7 no and 1 yes. I think we are starting to see that there are more than a few upset with who is the coach and where the program is headed. Bailey

Very satisified with where the program is. Most people here must have some kind of satisfaction, otherwise they wouldn't be here daily. UK must be satisfying something, and that has a lot to do with Tubby.

It is funny that there are 3 polls going and in everyone it shows that UK basketball is heading in the wrong direction and the coach has to take the blame for it. Bailey

Too bad the people who's opinions really matter most in this issue are firmly behind Tubby.

One other thing, I love the Smiths being here, because of their humility. At a recent game Donna Smith cleaned up another kid's puke near the court. She didn't have to do that, but she did. It's that kind of thing that makes me more proud of our coach and first lady for that matter. Arizona can have Olson, Syracuse keep Boheim, and Temple stay content with Chaney. We've got Tubby!

That little incident makes me proud of donna as does Tubby's charity work. However, we need a basketball coach more than an Eagle scout. Otherwise UK wouldn't be paying Tubby his exorbitant salary,

Bailey Of course there are more than a few that are not happy. The team isn't playing that well right now. That happens from time to time. If we were in string of huge wins there would be much fewer complaints. We would still have those few that are the vocal minority that would do anything and everything to make it look like Tubby isn't wanted at UK. The fact of the matter is that most fans (of which most are not on message boards) love Tubby. Just listen to the chants of Tubby, Tubby, Tubby after a big win. You guys keep chattering you're going to find some that agree with you. Hey, maybe you could start your own message board...

You have some resonable thoughts there, Bluecat. I think dwindling attendance may also show a few more people aren't really happy. The team doesn't pick up and it will get worse. Tubby already owns some of the smallest crowds that have shown up in Rupp. I can't question those that are showing up loyalty but I can sure question their threshhold for boredom.

Tubby has also been the coach on the bench for some of the largest attendances at Rupp and other venues as well. ;D

I think I'm going to puke after hearing someone basically kiss Tubbys butt when our program is obviously slippin. Man I'm just going to leave before I go off because I can't believe someone is still supporting this guy.

Chad, with all due respect, you kiss Tubby's butt when times are going well. At least, someone is supporting a guy when he's down. It's easy to do when a guy is doing well.... it's easy to just come along for the ride.

I think I'll wait to see the team progress like I hope they will after the addition of Morris before I make a FIRM decision. You can't sneeze at a 90+ - 17 run over the last few years. The man and the teams are doing something right for sure.
We're just in a slump right now. We've always had at least one threat from the paint for many years now, with the exception of this year. That will soon change. We don't have Mohammed, Magloire, Daniels, Hayes, etc etc.
Morris will CERTAINLY help and it may also help Rekalin and Thomas as well. I'm also hoping that Carter will be the replacement for Morris, at least part time.
I think our MAJOR problem is that we're a one dimentional team right now.

You got a point I am upset that the team isn't playing very good. I would love for them to do better, but I was and will never be a Tubby guy. He is a great guy, and yes his wife is a great supporter of the team but I just don't like the way he coaches. I hope Morris does make a difference.
