I don't know that the number wanting Tubby fired has increased, but the number wanting him gone certainly has. I know it's increased by at least one.
I don't want him fired. I just want him gone.

I don't care how he leaves, as long as he does. I don't care if we fire him, he quits, or he retires. I just want him out.

While I have made alot of noise on this subject, I think now is not the time to worry about it. We all need to focus on the remainder of the season and support the team as best we can.

Personally, even as anti-Smith as I've always been, I would definately not want the man fired. I don't even think that should be included in any conversation. I merely think that UK Anthletics and Coach Smith should politely part ways. Coach Smith has done nothing to deserve a firing. He simply is not a good fit or the best man for HC position. We all know that some hirings just don't work out with the blame equally shared.
If Coach Smith wants to remain in the NCAA, I'm sure that there are plenty of big-time programs out there that would make the offer. It's been a learning experience for all of us.

FIRE HIM
why?
It's the cheapest thing to do.
Let him sue, and drag it out forever.

I would rather the team focus on the rest of the season. It doesn't appear they are very good at that. As for our discussions on Smith's future; that's what fans do. Our support doesn't waiver, but with the team losing you can't focus on celebration so naturally you focus on what you feel will get you back to where you want to be.

I think it was Jan 23rd or so when I posted on this thread. Wait and see. The heart of the schedule was coming up. UF game fell behind, shot bad and played descent D. UT game did not show up at all on D, shot pretty well. BAMA WOW!!! No one cared, but the frosh. NO D AND NOTHING ON O.
LSU, UK simply wore a under man team down and it was again a frosh leading the way. Getlucky popped it's inconsistent head out again, and the " InconsistaCATS " won. If they are not ready to play Saturday @ VANDY a team that has beaten them 3 times in a row for the first time in history they will set history again and drop their 4th. I think if that happens the season is done and they have quit.
