probably late in season when we may drop 4 or 5 in a row, during those games it will show that either our guys can play well above what is expected of them or that we really need better recruiting.

I haven't gone anywhere; I still think others could do better than Tubby as head coach at UK. We've won 10 in a row but we really haven't played anybody other than cupcakes. Still about as exciting to watch as getting a root canal. Tubby can leave tommorrow and I wouldn't lose a drop of sleep.

We beat Auburn, who almost beat LSU. We beat Indiana who lost to OSU and Dook by less than a few points combined. We beat Louisville, who hasn't really done anything but they are a big time rival. We beat MSU, who lost to Clemson, Tenn, and Missouri by less than 10 points combined.
Does it taking beating UNC, UF, UCLA, OSU, and Wisconsin in a row before you admit we have beaten good teams?
OR will you say that those teams had off nights on the days we have played them.

OR will you say that those teams had off nights on the days we have played them. I'll echo that statement. And as to the question of where are they now; I'm still right here. Do I want Coach Smith fired? No. Would I like to see another man in his seat? Yes. This season is going better than MOST of you, that would admit to it, thought it would at this point. As far as I'm concerned, the SEC competition hasn't started yet. Ole' Miss, Auburn, Miss.St. should have been expected wins for all of us. How many more expected wins do you see? South Carolina? UGA? Vandy?

Vandy? I expect us to win every one of those. Anything less would be a big letdown. I don't expect us to beat Florida this year, and I do expect us to drop a game or two to the upper 50% of both divisions. If we wind up with 4 losses or less in the SEC regular season this year, I'll be satisfied. Anything better would be gravy.

Vandy? Actually not quite as good as I expected. We lost 2 in Maui and I only allowed for one loss there. The rest have been as I predicted. IMO, we lose 3 in SEC play, (UF, UT, 1 in the west), and one or two tournament games. Max of 8, with 6 or 7 as possibles, if we win the tournaments. I said 7 losses at the beginning of the year and now am saying 8 losses.

I know what he means, how certain posters disappear during the wins and then conveniently return after a poor (even if we win!) performance or loss.... I don't think anyone can deny that happens.... But of course that doesn't mean the same people don't still want him gone, there's just no sense in complaining after wins, makes them look like "extremists" when most of the people that do want him gone aren't, -D

Someone will always want him gone, but until we lose a game those people will simply post on another forum.

I have stayed around and I feel Tubby is doing pretty good but against should be wins....Now if we finish strong in the SEC then save this post because I will turn into the biggest Tubby supporter out there.............I am happy with the record so far but we have went through an easy part of the schedule the past 11 games saturday against Vandy the Final Exams start
