Golf, as great as your post is, you still will not get "free" mulligans. You must by a round of cold brew for all for each one. TB, that "hacker" got into my computer again!! THAT COULDN'T HAVE ME TALKING - COULD IT? BTW, no need for mulligans.

This is my first posting...website is rather interesting. I am a lifelong fan, unfortunately stuck in Charlotte, NC, but maybe this gives me some perspective. You fans who think Tubby should win or else have lost your mind. Look 3 hours north and consider Indiana...think back to the late 80's and Eddie Sutton or closer to my home, consider UNC's turn of events under Dogherty. A program can quickly and dramatically fall into 2nd class status and we should be so fortunate to have the success UK has had over the past three years. Tubby is a great guy, class act, runs a clean program and has to put up with all the grief UK fans dish out. Take a deep breath, exhale slowly and be thankful that our program is under the care of such a quality man.

I'm not saying win it or leave. But I will say FINAL FOUR OR LEAVE.

I believe that the " win it or leave" is completely abserd. This is 2005, NOT 1945, 1940, 1961, 1978, not 1957, this is today. Continuously comparing the ancient past with this season, next season, or the last six is arrogant irrational and blind thinking. IMHO. When comparing, I mean LIVING with ghosts and in the past all the time, NOTHING and nobody will EVER be good enough for those thinking that way. Those thinkers will allways be very unhappy with whomever is coaching, and what ever direction the program is going. Nothing wil, ever be good enough, just like what we see on the board today. Or 1993,96,97, and 98?

That was pretty much Pitinos doing...He wanted out and he isnt coming back...Tubby had a big assist in 98 though. Pitino wants no part of UK now and has stated how happy he is having the best job hes ever had. So we all hope Tubby can turn it around and start a run of Final fours, but things dont feel like they have that type momentum right now. Just a funny feeling with this rape allegation thing it will sit us back a few more years and may ultimately get Smith pushed out. Smith needs a Final 4 next year because of the misses with top seeded squads. I am in Smiths corner for now unlike some, but I want results or else let someone else take a crack at Camelot.

While I agree that the standards of most of the Kentucky faithfull are at the highest limits, I would like to point out that there are other programs that are just as high. It has taken me mosts of my adult life to understand that "Big Blue" cant win every year. That does not mean I dont expect it. As long as Coach Smith runs a clean program, continues to produce quality young men who will make a life after basketball, and stays in the hunt for the National Title, I will be happy.

Bailey, I'd like to add a third point to your post. 3. From Rupp to the present, Tubby is the only UK coach to never have a .500 or sub .500 season. Even Rupp had a .500 season. Let's tell the whole story and not just a selected version of it. You are right KT, BUT Tubby took over a team that was pretty much on top. I think almost everyone on this board would have to agree that the program has slightly dropped off since the end of the Pitino regime.
